2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
In 2010, British Columbia will host the world
with the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games coming
to Vancouver and Whistler.
Over 5,000 athletes and officials from more than
80 countries will participate in the Olympic Winter
Games, February 12–28, while 1,350 athletes and
officials from more than 40 countries will participate
in the Paralympic Winter Games, March 12–21.
The British Columbia 2010 Olympic and Paralympic
Winter Games Secretariat (BC Secretariat) is the
provincial agency responsible for overseeing
British Columbia’s Olympic financial commitments and
ensuring British Columbia’s Olympic vision is achieved.
