Recreation Site Use Rules and Guidelines

General Rules

Camping and Day Use

  • Enjoy your stay up to a maximum of 14 consecutive days.
  • You must pay camping and other service fees, if applicable, to the recreation site operator.
  • Do not litter or empty your holding tank. You pack it in, you pack it out.
  • Always keep your noise to a minimum and respect the peace and quiet of others. Obey the designated quiet time from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Keep your pets quiet and under control at all times.
  • Do not build long term structures, and return your site to natural conditions before leaving.
  • Competitive, commercial or group use requires permission.

Campfires

  • Keep your campfires small and in the fire rings. Attend your campfire at all times, and extinguish it completely before you leave.
  • Do not light campfires during strong winds.
  • Do not cut trees or remove firewood.

Driving and parking

  • Be cautious, as roads are often used by visitors as paths and play areas. Maximum speed is 20 km/h.
  • Keep roads clear and do not block traffic. Park in designated areas.
  • Do not drive over vegetation.
  • Always wear your bike helmet when riding a bike.

Safety and Hunting

  • Do not discharge firearms, bows, crossbows or set traps at a recreation site.
  • Do not leave game entrails on the site.
