Reservations and Fees

There is no reservation system for recreation sites – camping is entirely on a first-come, first-served basis.

Some – but not all – recreation sites charge fees for camping. The operators of some sites charge a fee, usually of $10 per night, for groups of up to six people. Some sites charge different fees.

In all cases, seniors and eligible persons with disabilities get a 50 percent discount from standard camping fees. For more information, see the Camping Fee Discounts page.

There are no camping fees at user maintained recreation sites or at some managed sites where the operator has another way to cover expenses.
