Discounts
There are two types of discounts:
Discounts for Persons with Disabilities
At managed recreation sites where
camping fees are charged,
persons with disabilities will
be provided with the opportunity
to camp at a reduced rate (50 percent off the normal fee).
You must be designated as a
Person With Disabilities
under the BC Employment and
Assistance Program (administered
by the Ministry of Employment
and Income Assistance), or have
a child who is eligible for the
At Home Program
(administered by the Ministry of
Children and Family Development)
to qualify for the reduced rate.
These are the same eligibility
criteria as required by
BC Parks.
Upon your arrival at a
managed recreation site where
camping fees are charged, please
show one piece of identification
(e.g., driver’s license) and one
of the following to the
campground operator:

Discounts for Seniors
At managed recreation sites where camping fees are charged, the fee for persons 65 years of age or older is reduced to 50 percent off the normal fee. This discount applies to the senior and his/her spouse.
Upon your arrival at a managed recreation site where camping fees are charged, please show one piece of identification (e.g., driver’s
license) to the campground operator to qualify for the reduced rate.
