Crown Land Allocation Process

There are two ways that one can apply to develop an all seasons resort on Crown Land. Which is used depends on how the Crown land is to be allocated, which is determined by government:

• where the land is to be disposed of by permit, licence of occupation, lease, right of way or Crown grant, then direct application is the process; or
• where Crown land is to be allocated by a master development agreement or operating agreement, then a proposal process using an expression of interest is the process.
