About the Branch

The Resort Development Branch is responsible for working with many partners to provide timely decisions for new resort proposals, major expansions and other projects at existing resorts.

The branch sets and administers policy for all seasons resort development, implements the BC Resort Strategy, and works to contribute significantly to the provincial goal of doubling tourism revenues by 2015.
