Resolving Heritage Property Disputes

In the event that a property owner has a disagreement with their local government over heritage designation or other matters relating to a heritage property, it is important for the dispute to be resolved between those parties. The branch does not get involved in such issues.

Municipalities handle any disputes over heritage designation under the terms of the Part 27 of the Local Government Act.
