The Arts and Culture Division of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts develops and administers government policies and programs that support a vital and sustainable arts and cultural sector.

The division administers the following programs of assistance for arts and cultural development:

• Spirit of British Columbia Arts Fund
• British Columbia Arts Council

In fulfilling its mandate the division also works with the following provincial agencies and programs:

• British Columbia Film
• British Columbia Film Commission

The Arts and Culture Division provides assistance to the following provincial service organizations in the delivery of support programs:

• Pacific Music Industry Association (Music BC)
• Association of Book Publishers of BC
