Protocol Agreement with the BC Oil and Gas Commission
The Oil and Gas Commission and the Ministry of Sustainable Resource
Management have entered into a new Protocol Agreement with respect to
the management of archaeological sites in North Eastern British Columbia
relating to impacts from oil and gas exploration and development and
pipeline activities. This new protocol is effective with respect to
all section 14 permits issued in 2004 for work conducted in this area
